8.Cross-border Transfer
ZoomContact’s data is hosted in the United States. Where a user transfers other persons’ personal information from the EU/EEA to our data server in the United States pursuant to the Terms of Use, you agree that you are a controller and ZoomContact is a processor, and you further agree to use the European Commission-approved Standard Contractual Clauses per GDPR Article 46 as a legal mechanism for data transfers from the EU/EEA. These clauses are contractual commitments between you and ZoomContact regarding transferring personal information, binding the parties to protect the privacy and security of the data.
